About The Collective

Who We Are

The Collective is the shared campus and umbrella brand that brings together two independent organizations working side‑by‑side to support individuals on their recovery journey. Our role is to provide a unified identity, a welcoming environment, and a connected space where community support and structured recovery housing coexist — while maintaining clear organizational boundaries.

The Collective itself does not provide direct services. Instead, we serve as the home and ecosystem for:

  • Community Resource Collective (CRC) — a nonprofit offering stabilization, peer support, and resource navigation for individuals and families facing crisis.

  • The Recovery Collective (TRC) — a for‑profit recovery support organization providing structured sober living, consulting, harm‑reduction services, and recovery‑focused training and education.

Together, these organizations create a continuum of care that strengthens recovery, stability, and long‑term wellbeing.

What We Are Not

To maintain clarity and compliance, The Collective:

  • Does not provide direct services

  • Does not accept donations

  • Does not manage client intake

  • Does not replace CRC or TRC

  • Does not combine nonprofit and for‑profit operations

We exist to support the ecosystem — not to operate programs.

Our Philosophy

The Collective is built on shared values that guide both CRC and TRC:

  • Dignity — Every person deserves respect and safety.

  • Stability — A secure environment is the foundation for growth.

  • Community — Recovery is strengthened through connection.

  • Accountability — Structure supports long‑term success.

  • Growth — Every step forward matters.

These values shape the campus environment and the collaborative spirit between CRC and TRC.

The campus is designed to feel safe, warm, and connected — a place where individuals can stabilize, grow, and rebuild.

How Our Ecosystem Works

Two Independent Organizations. One Connected Pathway.

The Collective houses two separate organizations that collaborate while maintaining clear legal and operational independence.

Community Resource Collective (CRC)

CRC is an independent nonprofit providing stabilization, peer support, resource navigation, and emergency shelter for individuals and families facing crisis. CRC helps people access mental health resources, housing support, basic needs, and recovery‑focused programs — all free of charge.

CRC operates on the Collective campus, offering community‑based support that complements TRC’s structured housing environment.

The Recovery Collective (TRC)

TRC is a for‑profit recovery support organization offering structured sober living, accountability systems, consulting, harm‑reduction services, and recovery‑focused training and education. TRC provides stable, professionally managed housing environments designed to help individuals build routines, strengthen sobriety, and prepare for independent living.

Residents benefit from TRC’s structured approach and access to CRC’s nonprofit services.

How CRC + TRC Work Together

Although CRC and TRC operate independently, their proximity and shared mission create a powerful, connected pathway:

  • TRC residents can access CRC’s nonprofit services for stabilization, resource navigation, and community support.

  • CRC clients may transition into TRC’s structured housing when appropriate for their recovery journey.

  • Both organizations maintain separate governance, finances, staff, and service delivery.

This model strengthens outcomes by combining stability, structure, community, and support — without blending nonprofit and for‑profit operations.

Why This Model Works

  • A unified campus environment

  • Clear organizational boundaries

  • Coordinated support without merged operations

  • A continuum of care from crisis to stability

  • Stronger long‑term recovery outcomes

  • A community‑centered approach

The Collective provides the environment where this collaboration can thrive.

Our Commitment

The Collective is committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and clearly defined campus where individuals can access the support they need — whether through CRC’s nonprofit services or TRC’s structured recovery programs.

We believe recovery is strengthened through community, stability, and access to resources. The Collective brings these elements together under one campus.
